Reuben Everett and Eddie Lockard

1921 Race Riot victims buried at Oaklawn Cemetery , Tulsa Oklahoma.

 

Reuben Everett (in the papers as Ruben Everett) killed by GSW to the abdomen.

 

Eddie Lockard (Dec 10, 1888- June 1 1921, age 33). Apparently died 8 miles east of Tulsa although possibly not on the 1st, may have been the second. Race riot commission papers say that the grave marker is not actually over his grave. He is possibly the Ned Lockard, waiter at Joseph L and Nina Lockard’s

restaurant at their residence at 316 E Archer.
