Training run
Looking down a cold and rain swept Platteklip Gorge with Cape Town lost far below in the mist. Despite the weather it was an enjoyable day on a completely deserted mountain, just the sound of the wind, water dripping and frogs chirping.
Nothing quite beats the feeling of coming home to a hot shower, except perhaps heading back up the mountain for a 7 hour night rescue in the wind and rain wearing gear that's already wet.
Sigh...
