This scissor tailed flycatcher is exclaiming "how the heck did I get here!" The breeding range for these guys is in the southern US - Texas and Oklahoma. So it was a surprise to see one in northern New Brunswick. This guy's tail is not very long so he may be a juvenile off on an adventure before returning to the 'customary' breeding range in the south.
In any event, it was a treat for me to see this guy - a lifer!
