Automatic and Manual Doors Awaiting Replacement

During the early 2000s, before Walmart Supercentre locations existed in Canada, a lot of the stores that were built at the time used swing doors from Stanley Access Technologies. Eventually, they began using automatic sliding doors. When the Preston Crossing store opened in Saskatoon to replace the previous store at The Centre, they used automatic swing doors, until this week. As of October 13, 2012, the store's outer doors have been replaced with automatic sliding doors while the doors inside are awaiting replacement. The Preston Crossing Walmart in Saskatoon is currently undergoing an expansion and will become a Walmart Supercentre in a matter of months. As part of the renovations, the automatic swing doors are being replaced with automatic sliding doors, which, unsurprisingly, are from Stanley Access Technologies.
