Rock Tree

Steve (Stoates-Findhorn) and I took a trip to Kinloch Hourn; a superb drive on a narrow windy road. The autumn colours were showing well and although it was a dull overscast day there were plenty of stops for photographs.

This shot of a golden birch tree seemingly growing out of solid rock was taken just before the precipitous descent into Kinloch Hourn itself.
