There's a fragility to us that's rare to life.

Can a broken heart heal a heart that's already whole?

Can someone miss a man they've never met?

Where do our minds go when we get caught up in dreams?

Don't elude the light, son, it's darkest when you're not in it

You see, these singing dreams have always dreamed of being seen

And this life is simply dying to be lived

Don't deny the heart its oxygen

Yes, there's searing pain when bone meets atmosphere, but that's just what it takes sometimes

Don't let your hands go reaching for roses

Don't let your heart leave your chest

It's a risk we all have to take, exposing our sensitive eyes to the sun

Look, though! You could be the one who didn't take his eyes off of it!

Some might say you're just a kid, but mister, I say you're the world

And someday you'll tune in to the static that really has a story

Someday the dust will settle and you will see clearly

It's only dusk in your heart, but I can see the big picture and it's perfect

Just you wait. You'll be so surprised to see, your life was the life of a warrior

Drop the sword and fight with your flesh and your blood

Fight with the weapon that beats the hardest

Fight with your heart, boy, because it's all you've got that will put up a fight

And see if you can count your blessings

Go ahead and try

But you know they come in multitudes that numbers can't count

Count on those blessings, because the good things are all that will last for you, My son

And if you can see the light in this midnight, oh, just you wait until the dawn

Much better in Lightbox.
