The Distance [EXPLORED]

You and me, we were literally meant to be together. From the dawn of time. None of this cliche, "I was in love the moment I saw you smile; I knew." But we were made to be with each other, since the beginning.

Yet the words we once spoke are gone from me now. They've dissolved from my memory. I can no longer hear your voice ringing in my ears. I can't even remember if you said goodbye. Everything we did, everything we saw; it's melted away, just as you seem to have melted into the core of the earth and out of my reach. I know you're mine, but you're so far gone it's hard to think. To where have you disappeared? The distance, I can't stand the distance. It seems I'm at the bottom of the ocean and you're somewhere in the clouds, dancing with the sun. You don't get it, do you?

And this, this is where I say the cliche words that everyone says, and everyone means: "I miss you." I really do miss you. There are no words. I'm lost and I'm found and I'm trying to find you. I know you'll be here soon, but I want you now.

Either completely ignore me, or completely adore me, but don't pretend you miss me. Enough with the roller-coasters. Enough with the games. I know I don't exist to you anymore, and I know you're good to go without me. But you'll be back, I'm sure of it. And when you are, I'll be ready for you with arms outstretched. And it will all come flooding back to us.
