Project 365: Day 290
21 February
Bronzed.
Shining in the warmth.
Weather worn and sun drenched,
Your branches begin to reach.
They crawl
Through tangles of wind
And quiet whispers of
Renewal.
Seasons
Passing like cold moonlight;
To sky painted in soft pinks and purples;
On to hard rays that
Make tears in your eyes;
And then come the fiery reds and oranges
Like leaves falling,
Following the sun through dying sky;
And again the snowy silver
Of a new moon;
But it is aways new,
Always sweet,
And that is what we miss
When we forget the roots.
Haircut, sunlight, honest conversations.
