Little boxes

Part of an exhibit by artist Michael Walsh at the Bermuda National Gallery that reminded me of a hit by Pete Seeger. The words and music of "Little Boxes" were written by Malvina Reynolds in 1962, and it served as a protest song.

 

"Little boxes on the hillside,

Little boxes made of ticky tacky,

Little boxes on the hillside,

Little boxes all the same.

There's a green one and a pink one

And a blue one and a yellow one,

And they're all made out of ticky tacky

And they all look just the same." etc.
