Prospect Park
From Central Park I took the subway down to Brooklyn, to Prospect Park. I had two objectives here: to see the Painted Bunting that had been visiting the park for the past month, and to see the Black-headed Gull that had also been visiting the park recently.
Prospect Park was opened in 1867; like Central Park, it was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.
