squirrel solution hopefully
I told a friend on the phone today about the squirrel who's been getting up onto this feeder and eating all the seeds - just this morning I moved it another couple of feet higher up the wall but ten minutes later he jumped up on it no problem - and she told me of this trick of covering parts of the feeder with holly leaves because the squirrels don't like the prickliness. There just happens to be a holly bush out back, so I'm giving it a try. I'll let you know if it works!
