Nebula

As soon as I heard the topic for this week, I wanted to do the texture of the iris of the eye. In order to do this, you have to get *very* close to the eye. I decided to rent a macro lens in order to do this. These were all taken with a single flash at a fairly harsh angle in order to get more dramatic lighting and emphasize the texture in the iris.

In editing, I did some pretty intense sharpening and deconvolution techniques to really bring out the stringiness in the iris and therefore help the viewer imagine what it might feel like.
