Greenpeace decontaminates Bt eggplant field trial site
A security officer from the Bureau of Plant Industries, without proper protective garb against GE contamination, removes a sign calling attention to hazards posed by genetically-engineered Bt talong (eggplant) in a field trial site in Bay town in the province of Laguna. The sign was put up by a decontamination unit from environmental activist group Greenpeace during operations to prevent contamination, February 17, 2011.
