Naked Earth
Digging In The Archives Tuesday - revisited on October 14th, 2014, because it was favourited by someone today, which prompted me to look at my view stats and, incredibly, this image has clocked up nearly 85,000 views to date (and climbing by the look of things). I originally posted it for an ODC challenge (see below) - the person who set it at the time mentioned that someone had told him that if you use the words Naked or Nude in the title of an image it'd get more views, regardless of what the image was. Maybe these stats prove him right?

Rather pleased with how this came out as it was shot through the insect-and-dust-splattered car window as we drove past endless expanses of arid nothing.
After a very long road trip from north-central Germany to way, way south in Italy, we have arrived! I'll upload the odd image as and when it fits a theme or challenge, but plan to mostly chillax. Thankfully the temps have dropped from an OMG 40C on Thursday to a more reasonable 29C today!
