My school issued hp tc4400 tablet pc, locked up like hell. Anti-exe, DeepFreeze - The whole schabang. It runs moderately well, but most importantly, I have no need to do my homework on paper anymore. Which is cool. Most of my teachers accept assignments through a drop-box system on our school's web portal, and if they don't, we have print rooms to print to wirelessly all over the school. Also, the tablets have a huge external battery, the thing on the back, so the tablets run for about 7 hours fully charged.
They also have a nice suite of software, including CS2, Alias Sketchbook, MS Office , assorted dev tools, assorted code tools, etc.
