Blue Mahoe

This is Blue Mahoe. I have resawn it up for the ship. I purchase this board from CookWoods.com. I really love this wood. It is truly beautiful. It gives of a pleasant almost peppery smell. It has a silky but feel when finished but is stringy when cut or rough sanded. I would really like to get some to turn or carve, but one project at a time eh:).
