This 250 sqm failed bitumen felt roof was waterproofed using Icopal Elastoflex 10 year system. As the existing flat roof was ballasted, one of the largest issues was the safe removal of ballast which also led to extensive pressure cleaning of the surface prior to the 2-Part Primer application.
Following the primer application two coats of polyurethane resin and a polyester fleece delivered a highly elastic, seamless roofing membrane.
