Today has not been the best day, photography wise. My camera and I spent the majority of my walk fighting with each other and things just were not working out for me. So, I started out shooting macros, because they seem to be my specialty and they work on days when things go wrong, but then I decided to scrap that idea and go for something different.

 

This shot is pretty different from my usual work, even the way I've processed it is not my standard style. However, since everything was feeling wrong today, I wanted to go a different route.

 

In the end I like this, but I don't know if this photo has staying power for me. I think this may end up being a photo I like right now, but in a few weeks or months when I look back, I won't feel the same.

 

But hey, at least I tried something new, right?
