This Nap Brought To You by Sunshine
I started my year of photos with Fyero and it just felt right to cap off 2018 with another photo of my sweet girl.
Lately it's felt as though the animals have taken over my photostream, but that's okay. They make me smile and they make me laugh and hopefully they can do the same for you.
2018 has been an interesting year; my home life has been wonderful. Scott and I have settled into our routine filled with laughter and smiles, the animals keep us busy and still we find time for those mellow moments.
Work has been a little more of a struggle this past year; I took a leap and changed jobs and regularly miss my coworkers and the nature of the work I used to do. It was a promotion, but I often wonder if it was a mistake. I'll keep pressing on, working my butt off and looking for something else that I'll find a little more satisfying, but my work life simply must change in 2019. The stress of the new job is not worth it and the headaches are not necessary. I'm sure this job is right for someone, I'm just not that person.
As for my photography, it's continued to grow. Throughout the years I've flipped back and forth with the 365 projects, this year it worked well. I learned a little about lighting and continued to try and branch away from my comfort zone. I tried to incorporate more daily life photos and less macros. As much as I love my macros, I wanted to use this medium as a way to document the days as they go by. I think in the coming the year, I'll try to continue with a mix of the two styles and continue to try new things.
And, to all of you, who have travelled through this past year with me, I sincerely thank you for joining me on this journey. It's been a gift to glimpse into your lives and view your photographs and art. You always inspire and ignite the need to pick up that camera.
I cannot wait to see where 2019 takes us all.
