An 8.9 magnitude quake hit Aceh, Indonesia today. Tremors were felt in regional area such as Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
It was a scary moment for my family and I. After checked in at Traders Hotel Penang, we took an elevator to 15th floor. Right before I was about to enter our room, we felt the building shaking like crazy and immediately we rushed down to the nearest staircase. Running down from level 15 was no joke but I'm so grateful that we are fine. What an experience!
