Origami Box Kite - No Cuts - no Glue or other fasteners
This box kite is constucted from rectangular pieces of cardstock without any adhesives or ties (only cardstock). Notice there are no diagonal supports either. The structure of the corner elbows holds the kite in sqyuare. The kite paper (red) is connected to only one of the four "sticks"This picture is actually a simulation of the test flight. I was too busy trying to fly the kite to take a picture! The kite flew steadily at a low altitude but required a wind of 13 miles per hour. To gain altitude, I would probably need a stronger wind or a different angle on the string bridle. Any suggestions?
