candy/art/wendy
i was aghast. looking at this green candy art installation by felix gonzales-torres, i pondered the security oddities of the ft. worth modern. i'd been admonished for photographing one of a few pieces where that wasn't allowed, despite no way of knowing which ones those were. and wendy had been warned about getting too close to something.
just then a couple guys grabbed some of this candy from the installation and popped them in their mouths. um, security? vandals are eating your freaking art! shouldn't someone tackle them before they eat a warhol or something? of course, when i found out it was ok to eat the art there, so i tried some candy too.
surprisingly, it tasted a little van goghy.
