Away You Go
With the line ahead clear and the lower quadrant starter signal off, War Department 'Austerity' 2-8-0 90733 'Remembrance' pulls out of Damems Loop with the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway's 16.15 Keighley-Oxenhope train. The 'Dubdee' had to wait for the passage of the 16.15 Oxenhope-Keighley train, which can be seen disappearing in the distance. The Midland Railway signal box, dubbed Damems Junction, came from Frizinghall, Bradford. This was the first day of the annual Haworth 1940s Weekend, hence the choice of era appropriate motive power. @16.52
