Is there a clear relationship between the black and white areas? Yes there is a very clear relationship between the positive and negative space, you can see both negative and positive space very clearly.

 

How is the principle of Unity represented in your design? This pictures represents unity because in both positive and negative space this picture still looks almost the same.
