Chinese puppets

Chinese puppet shows featuring traditional folklores or literature classics are a popular form of past entertainment in Singapore. They are often performed in the streets and at temple festivals. The elaborate costumes are based on costumes worn by court officials of the Han, Tang, Song and Ming dynasties. It's a pity that these dramas are almost extinct now.
