Bluerender versus pov-ray
So this is the new bluerender software I tried for rendering LDD. I think it has a nice low-poly feel to it, and LDD parts are low quality in general so it doesn't draw that much away from the render itself. It's also very fast, a 2048*1536 photo took 4 minutes, while a 1920*1080 pov-ray one took four HOURS.
basically, bluerender (left) versus pov-ray (right)
pros: a lot faster than pov-ray
has it's own low-poly appeal
cons: not true lighting rendering
simpler ray-tracing with less bounces
some surfaces have artifacts
What do you guys think?
