Gaza Storm
A severe winter storm hit Palestine on 11 December 2013 exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation of large segments of the Palestinian population especially those in the Gaza Strip, who have been suffering from fuel and energy shortages for months. Heavy flooding resulted in the displacement of thousands of people in temporary shelters.
