Wai-O-Tapu boiling mud
The large boiling mud pool at Wai-o-tapu Thermal Park bubbles madly, day in, day out. The plopping mud is actually really hard to capture as you can't predict where the next blob of mud will fly from nor how big it will be. It also drives you crazy if you are not using an SLR camera because the lag on a compact digital makes it nearly impossible to get to the camera to react fast enough. It is amusing to try though! I guess I got lucky with this shot.
