Hulleys 3
Hulleys have renewed the bulk of their fleet in the past two years. Five Plaxton-bodied Darts have been purchased in this time, including three from Yellow Buses. The first ex Yellow Buses Dart to join the fleet was SN55HTD (3) which arrived in April 2018 and was, until last week, the only full-size Dart to carry Hulleys fleetnames. Featuring the operator's name in lower case lettering, the fleetnames it carries are of a style which were only applied to five vehicles, and have since been superseded. This view sees 3 on Dovedale Avenue in Inkersall Green whilst operating the 14:00 78 from Staveley to Brimington. Hulleys have been operating the 78 under contract to DCC since October 2015. The service falls outside their Peak District heartlands, although, with names including Bamford, Froggatt, Ashover, Curbar, and Kinder, the roads it serves in Inkersall Green do at least borrow from the nomenclature of more familiar territory!
