Before driving up Fujisan, Shogo and I visited Miho no Matsubara, famous for its old pine trees and view of Fujisan from across Suruga Bay. We found a small matsuri (festival) was happening when we arrived. Miho, Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka-shi, Japan. October 10, 2009.
