Dust Bug
When we took the floorboards up in the bathroom, we managed to capture this critter. He was about 2cm long and covered in dust. I had never seen anything like it and grabbed my camera. The shot's not brilliant as it was quite dark. After much searching on the Internet, I managed to identify it: An Assassin Bug. It apparently covers itself in spit, (nice!) and then attatches dust so as to camouflage itself from predators and their prey. I was a bit worried when I found out that they mainly live on bed bugs(!), but after also finding lots of Silverfish in the bathroom, think that's what it's been eating. They are one of the grossest insects I have ever seen and are known to give a nasty bite!
