UNICA’s TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) certification course is the first of its kind in Nicaragua. The pilot program is 8 weeks in length and intended for Nicaraguan public school teachers. The blended learning course is offered free of charge and consists of 24 hours of online study, 12 hours of face-to- face meeting with peer teaching, and 4 hours of observed teaching practice.
