Argentina Workshop
This was the first meeting of the “Mate” and Mobiles Club, inspired by the previous Mobile Application Language Learning workshops carried out by IICANA’s ELF, Tylie Cramer. This Club is open to IICANA’s students and the greater Cordoba public. Its mission is, “to foster English
language learner autonomy through the use of mobile applications and computer assisted language learning technology. To cultivate a heightened sense of motivation to approach language learning technology and amplify exposure to authentic English language content in IICANA learners and the English language learning community of the greater Cordoba, Argentina.” This first meeting introduced a wide variety of technology usage to learn English, showing an interactive game, social media and other methods of learning English in a more autonomous fashion.
