Dr. Christopher Hastings, English Language Fellow at ITMO University in St. Petersburg, Russia, traveled to Narva and Johvi, Estonia to meet with groups of English teachers from around Estonia to give presentations on Second Language Motivation that helped teachers incorporate motivational teaching strategies into their daily practice. The interactive workshops offered teachers an opportunity to learn more about different approaches to teaching language, helped to improve the quality of English language education in the area, and also introduced resources available on the ECA’s American English website.
