On March 16th, 2016, English Language Fellow William Smith participated in an event hosted by an English language school for young learners, aged 13-18. More than 700 participants from Artem and its small settlements, Vladivostok, Ussyriisk and Nakhodka took part in this 3-day language and cultural event. The aim was to promote English and motivate students to study harder. The Fellow was invited to speak by the director of the school as well as the local US Consulate in Vladivostok.
