Tiny embroidery - brooch

Blackwork embroidery motif by Imaginesque, 26 by 26 stitches on 14-count aida fabric. The back is a crocheted square with a double-crochet border all around.

 

I think I regret using multiple shades of pink on the roses, because the contrast really doesn't show up well. I know the effort will be appreciated by the recipient, though.
