Remains of the “Hara Foga” (Upper Village), the Ottoman settlement that grew up amongst the Roman ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara, in Umm Qais, northern Jordan, with the black basalt columns of the 5th/6th century Byzantine church at the Basilica terrace and the Sea of Galilee at the background.
