Forcipulatida
One of the major orders of Sea Stars, includes pretty much all of the sea stars that people think of, the common sea star (Asterias forbesi) , the Sunflower Seastar (Pycnopodia heliathoides) etc. Does not include brittle stars, basket stars, or the Crown of thorn and its relatives. Characterized by 5+ arms, generally no clear start of arms, end of body, tube feet with suckers, presence of pedicellaria.
