On the way down to Iowa we stopped in Hope, MN. If you haven't been there, it's a rural town with one gas station, a bar, a post office and the best antique store ever. Everything was 50% off and I walked out with 5 radios (this being one of them), a mint condition Polaroid Land Camera 100 for $1.50 (not an expensive camera in the first place, but a good find nonetheless), and a very nice pink Decca record player for $5. The guy that owned it was nuts. He kept asking us, "You think you did alright??" about the total for all the items. I think I'll wait for him to replenish his stock and head back.
The sx-70 camera this was taken with was found in Iowa at an otherwise very overpriced antique market (except for this lone item) for $10.00. Unbelievable.
