Bijou

Bijou is our neighbor's dog; she was adopted on Thanksgiving 2008. She's a very special girl. She's a rescue from the streets of Taiwan. She's had a very hard life living on the streets. Her rescuer found her after she had been hit by a car. Bijou was taken to the vet by her rescuer who expected to have her put to sleep. The vet said her injuries weren't life threatening, however she did have a bad infection in her nasal cavity probably due to her already missing eye. They had to remove the cartilidge in her nose; now when she breathes, her nose moves up and down like a little warthog. She's safe now in the States. No longer on the streets. Pig loves her as you can see by some of the photos. I think Pig knows she's special needs. Since these first photos were taken, Bijou has put on a lot of weight. She doesn't look like the same dog. I will try to post some newer photos soon.
