2-15 FA Volunteer Luncheon
Lt. Col Michael Englis and Command Sgt. Maj. William Sturgeon, the command team of 2nd Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, hosted a luncheon to recognize volunteers across the Allons battalion, October 10, 2019, at Fort Drum, New York. During his speech, Englis lauded spouses, Soldiers and a few youth volunteers for numerous selfless acts in addition to supporting local churches, animal shelters and each other. Volunteers received Certificates of Appreciation and the 2-15 FA “Making a Difference” award. Special honoree Aida Almeida received the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service.
