Although having a family resemblance to the XK120 and XK140, the XK150 was radically modernized. A one piece windscreen replaced the split screen, and the wing line no longer dropped as much over the doors. The bonnet was widened, and opened down to the wings.
In the interior, the XK140's walnut dashboard was replaced by an elegantly leather trimmed dash. Thinner doors gave more interior space as well.
Four-wheel Dunlop 12 in. Disc-Brakes appeared for the first time. Suspension and chassis were very similar to that on the XK140. Steering was by rack and pinion; power steering was not offered.
Presented here is a 1960 Jaguar XK150 DHC, fresh from a long term collection and a recent restoration work. Finished in the most desirable British Racing Green/Beige color combination, no expense was spared when reviving this iconic British roadster. Restoration highlight include: rebuilt mechanicals and drive train back to factory specifications, fresh full interior, re-chromed and polished brightwork, clean paint, and gorgeous silver wire wheels.
Many extras and original pieces accommodate the XK150 such as: original tool set, original heads, original aluminum boot (trunk lid), books, receipts, complete set of chrome wire wheels and tires, wheel knock-off wrench, new car cover, tonneau cover, and maintenance chart!
