I'm Prickly but I'm Beautiful
This flower (a weed?) from a park in Sacramento is my contribution to Whispery White Wednesday. Happy WWW, everyone!
Wink reminded me this is called "Love in a Mist." It grows in clumps with those spikey leaves looking misty and cloudy and I'm told it grows fast and covers a lot of ground if you don't watch out. They had it in blue at the garden, too.
Hmmm. Love -- spikey and beautiful at the same time. How appropriate.
