docflic: spring blossoms
The only time during the year that the Arkplein, a square not far from my home in Alkmaar, is beautiful to look at is those two weeks in spring when all the trees there bloom simultaneously. I have no idea what tree it is (undoubtedly fellow flickrates like wontolla or tovje will be quick to share there wisdom in these matters...) but those two weeks this desolate and hopeless square actually is a pleasure to walk by! (filmed in May 2006)
