Home Depot Helps Moore Students with a Hands-On Lesson
The cafeteria at Moore Elementary School looked like a small assembly line on Thursday morning as Kindergarten and 1st grade students assembled race car kits. The materials along with some hands-on help were provided by Home Depot. Melissa Nordell-Earp, the community school coordinator at Moore, noted that while the project was fun it also tied to the school's EL Curriculum and the goal of enhancing and enriching education through experience. Family members were also engaged in working with the young students to assemble and paint their creations.
