This was on one of the playground levels at Wood River Park. There were several cool things like this, but how often do you see something put up on a playground to help bridge the gap between a hearing disabled child and one with hearing. I thought this was pretty cool.
According to this site ( research.gallaudet.edu/Demographics/2000_National_Summary... ) there are nearly 44 thousand deaf children in the United States alone.
