Still life - for Get Pushed!!!
Sue Sue@Sea gave me a challenge right outside of my comfort zone -create an indoor still life and capture it! Spotting beauty when I'm out walking isn't too difficult, and the camera just captures it ;o) Creating something myself - well that's not my thing, I don't do flower arranging etc so I didn't really know where to start. Still life is usually inanimate subjects, again, not something I'm used to taking shots of but Sue had given me free choice of subject and even suggested using things I picked up on my walks - she has guessed I'm a magpie! I brought home loads of stuff, but settled on the holly leaf skeletons! Needless to say I couldn't choose between 2 shots so here they are, the B&W had some nice rain bokeh that caught my eye and Channel 4 News provided some fake aurora borealis that kind of fitted with the little Canadian bear that Rachel & Rich gave us.
