Hillside Ka at Hutt
Hutt Workshops built a lot of the Ka's, but Hillside in Dunedin built a 10 as well in kitset form in addition to the 6 Kb Class locos they built. The kitset Ka's from Hillside (940-944, 960-964) were assembled at Hutt and so all Ka's carried Hutt Workshops makers plates. Ka 942, while on display representing the locomotives built at Hutt, is actually the last remaining Hillside-built Ka. Hutt Workshops Open Day, 28th February 2010
