Mr Cornett still has the teepees set up
Mr Cornett used to have a American Civil War re-enactment at this farm every year. The re-enactment was moved to Barbourville where the battle they were re-enacting took place a few years ago, but things are still set up as they were before they relocated.
This is not the local Native Americans' (Cherokee & Shawnee) type of housing. Teepees were used by the Native American nations that lived in the plains of the United States. The local Native Americans lived in log houses.
