Merry Christmas Folks!!

Dale is about as real as it gets for Santa.

 

He does many events during the Holidays as a Santa for Hire. Every Year he does the Christmas Party at my wifes work, and this year I did all the Santa pictures for the kids. (133 kids) The kids all got VERY nice presents from Santa, and a free picture with Santa. He has been doing their Christmas party for many years, and he also worked at my wifes company for over 25 years before retiring. He is a great guy, perfect Santa, and incredible with the kids. They all think he is the real Santa. No fake beards and cheesy Santa suits here. In fact he reminds me very much of the Coka Cola Santa.

 

Strobist info: This was shot hand held with a Nikon D800, a Nikon 24-70 f2.8, Pocket Wizard Plus III's, and the following setup:

 

3 Speedlights (Nikon SB-700)

 

1 key light - 43" reflective umbrella Camera left and up at 45 degrees. 1/2 power

 

1 fill light - 43" reflective umbrella camera right for fill at 1/4 power.
